About Nippers

"Nippers" is a fun activity-based program run to educate young children 6-14yr about surf safety and awareness when visiting a beach or aquatic environment.

What happens on Sundays

There are a few rules to follow to make your day safe and enjoyable:

• Be punctual, Nippers start at 9.00am SHARP
• Please wear sun protection (block out and zinc)
• Nipper hats must be worn until you sign off at the conclusion of your events
• Absolutely no playing in the water when any competition is on
• You must sign on with your Age Manager at the commencement and sign off at the completion of nippers
• No sand throwing

Get Involved

Education Maroubra Surf lifesaving Club runs a number of courses:

• Officials courses Level one (1)
• Coaching Accreditation
• Bronze Medallion
• Advance Resuscitation
• IRB drivers (Rubber Duckie)

Officials in particular are needed by the club and is a good way for parents to get involved.
